Elizabeth Hasselbeck Leaving The View For Fox?
It has been reported that Elizabeth Hasselbeck was offered a spot on Fox News and is considering leaving The View:
Elisabeth is just as tired of the ladies at The View as they are of her! She feels she constantly has to defend herself. When she gets passionate about her opinions, the others make her look like she’s hysterical. But when she doesn’t talk enough, she’s accused of ‘pouting.’
I doubt that it’s true. But wouldn’t be great if she leaves The View?

Great news if it’s true. I may even start watching The View again. I gave it up months ago after one too many of Elisabeth’s tearful outbursts when someone challenged one of her remarks. How pathetic can you get that you feel you have to try and gain sympathy by crying.

Wowzers! I stopped watching The View a while ago so I’m assuming Elizabeth is pregnant, that would explain the size of those honkers. Yes,I would likely start watching again if they ditched Hasselbeck. Would it be pushing it to ask Walters to retire from the show as well?
I for one would be thrilled about her departure from the view. I respected Elizabeth for taking a stand by defending her opinions, however, that respect has since waned since her back handed stunt at the RNC. Elizabeth stood at the podium and basically said Michelle Obama was not trustworthy. In my opinion what Elizabeth did was EXTREMELY unprofessional. I am a manager and what transpires during a meeting with my fellow colleagues, stays in that meeting.
I have been watching the View since Meredith Vierra days and have seen the different host’s changing their personalities while on this show. One being, Elizabeth, who is an articulate, impassioned young woman, but in the last few months she has become overbearing and rude to her co hosts in expressing her ideas about all life in general. She seems to have ditched the idea of respect in trying to get her opinions across, trying to make them the only ones that matter. Being 69 and still going through the course of Life 101, I think this young lady has a lot of growing up to do.
I am so tired of ELizabeth using her platform to defend the obvious like when McLame tried to cancel the debate she had the nerve to saw that he did not owe us or the press to show up and debate. He is running for president and he needs every vote he can get. That is his resposibility! How can she be so blind. I don’t feel sorry for her! A person can vote however they want to but atleast get your fact straight before you speak, I hope they give her seat to a person with more than a view, someone with some substance.
I am thrilled that Elizabeth is leaving; I’ve been waiting for this for years. She is obnoxious, overbearing, immature, and frankly not very smart. She can’t bear to let anyone get a word in edgewise, she interrupts, she’s rude and inconsiderate. Don’t get me started! This is a good move for the show and will win back lots of viewers who just didn’t want the “hassle”beck!
Thank God! Thank God! please take Elizabeth off the show! Barbara please pay for her to go back to school, or, since she has “so much money” becuase she loves John McCain lifestyle of 7 homes and 13 cars. Elizabeth can afford to STAY AT HOME! and find a career! Maybe then she will become a polished person when dealing with real STARS!
i would stop watching. obviously most of you are democrats and thats why yall feel this way. but despite her political views, they always cut her off and bash her OPINION but they can all have their opinions. kind of hypocritical. sherie is usally pretty nice about it though. most of the time whoopie is but joy she can be nasty.
Joy may seem nasty, but she is a very educated woman (Masters degree) and a former teacher, so she has some smarts. Can you imagine how frustrating it must be for her to put up with the babble that comes out of Elisabeth’s mouth day after day? Elisabeth loves to hear herself talk and whether or not you agree with her opinions (which I never do), it’s the way she delivers them and her “high and mighty” attitude and ditsy remarks that are hard to stomach. She acts like a spoiled child. And please Elisabeth, quit crying! I can’t stand it when she starts bawling and jumps into Barbara’s lap like a little baby. This “girl” lacks class and maturity.
I would love to see her go she is so rude. I really liked it when Rosie was on. I like everybody but her. She is very uneducated person all she does is run off at the mouth. I think some times they just tune her out. I use to watch the view all the time but since her out burst all the time I dont wath it has much.
Elizabeth is the only reason that the show is interesting. The show is called “The View”, not “Views from the Left”. And, to those that don’t agree with her and therefore, call her stupid and immature…..I say “grow up”. This nation is filled with people of all beliefs and views. I’ve always thought that those on the left proclaimed that they were the open-minded party. Oh…..I get it….you’re only open-minded to those that agree with you. Personally, I hope she leaves and launches her own show on Fox, as has been rumored.
It will be a great day when/if Elizabeth leaves the view. The girl is a reality star that can not make one coherent statement; she should not have been on the view to begin with. Ths fact that she is a conservative have nothing to do with my dislike for but her outright disdain and lack of respect does. She is always using how Barack Obama says different things in front of different groups but she did the exact same thing when she bashed Michelle Obama adn the Cindy Mccain luncheon. If she was comfortable with what she said she would have said at the view, not at the RNC. How hypocritical!!!
Elizabeth is entitled to voice her opinion about her beliefs but that’s doesn’t mean we have to agree with them. It doesn’t matter if you are republican or democrat every american is entitled to this it’s our right to voice what we believe in. Maybe it’s time for her to move on to something else. The thing that irritated me about her is that when Walters asked her if she could see things from a different stand point about Palin she got defensive and asked a question about Obama. I mean that’s what a child does when they get in trouble is try to blame anyone else to get out of the hot seat. She needs to grow up and stop acting like a child. Of course she’s republican she can’t afford not to be considering she’s rich…
If she, indeed, IS leaving, it’s about time … and I can think of no better place for her than ‘Fox,’ where her opinions will match perfectly with all the other right-wingers there!
It isn’t JUST Mrs. H’s current political opinions that I find disagreeable … she IS, after all, entitled to HER opinions, just like ALL the rest of us. I, quite honestly, haven’t liked her from the very first day she walked onto ‘The View.’
What IS her claim to fame? Other than her stint on ‘Survivor,’ (big friggin’ deal) she’s a total NOBODY! She is, in MY opinion … and we are ALL allowed our own opinions or there wouldn’t be boards like this … nothing more than a spoiled little rich girl. She has NO IDEA of what hardship is and she made sure she never would by gold-digging herself into a marriage with an OVERpaid, not-that-talented football player. Her lack of life experience displays itself BLATANTLY every time she opens her screechy-voiced mouth. (And has anyone else noticed how big and ugly her hands are. She should trade those big honkin’ mitts off to her husband … give him a little something more to work with in his ’so called’ profession. The two of them deserve each other. They’re both no-talents.)
I don’t dislike her because she’s Republican; I’d dislike her no matter WHAT party she backed. She’s simply MUCH TOO opinionated … and if she can’t ‘have it her way,’ she resorts to eye rolling, under-her-breath snotty remarks and, finally, when all else fails … tears. On a playground, if you didn’t play by HER RULES, she’d take her little ball and run home boo-hooing. What a GREAT example of an independent, outspoken woman! NOT!!
She’s annoying because she cannot EVER admit when her political party screws up … and EVERY, SINGLE politico out there screws up. That’s called being human. But she’s MUCH too immature to ‘gracefully’ admit that there are weaknesses in EVERYONE … EVEN her candidates. THAT’S what makes her SO dislikable. To say nothing of the fact, she’s a nobody who lucked into a spot on a tv show for which she has absolutely NO qualifications or even SIGNIFICANT prior ‘celebrity.’ What WERE you thinking, dear Barbara?
I say, the sooner she’s gone, the better … better for ‘The View,’ better for us who enjoyed the show BEFORE her spoiled, obnoxious actions sullied it, better for ‘Fox News,’ (another feather in their right-wing cap) and MUCH better for ABC. ‘The View’ will do just FINE without her; it will, no doubt, do even BETTER! And mark my words … you just watch how FAST her little ‘fifteen minutes of fame’ crashes and burns as SOON as the election’s over. That’s all she has going for her … her big, extremely conservative ’screechy’ mouth!
She’ll have to go back to the only thing she APPARENTLY does well … popping out rug rats. We won’t even be subjected to accidentally stumbling onto her mug (and big mitts) while we’re channel surfing. Hallelujah!!!!
If Elizabeth thinks the other ladies make her look histerical she is crazier then I thought. Nobody can make someone look one crazy. If you talk over ever one and talk about your talking points instead of the issue brough up, you look crazy and you can not blame any one else. Elizabeth has looked crazy ever since the Rosie days, she believed everything Bush said, now she has seperated herself from him. Try to say Elizabeth isn’t a walking talking point for the Republicans is crazy and I’m an Independant who is plan over her and the show if they don’t make her settle down and listen to other views and not scream her talking points because we are smarter then that.
i always felt elizabeth was just plain ignorant but no more. her stubbornness i now find to be a mean spirited fear she needs as a defense. good lord,what in the world will she become when she “wakes up” and realizes her hubby finds “joy” elsewhere?? her voice will become even screechier and her demeanor will get worse! i feel bad for her children.

I think Elisabeth has overstayed. She is defensive from the Rosie days. I agree it may be difficult to be the only republican voice, but It appears so phony to pretend that she gets along with the cast. Maybe Sheri because she is new.
Non of the others are in lock step with every thing the democratic party does, they all seem to be objective and can call a wrong or inappropriate move by either party.
I would be shocked if Elisabeth is not being payed. Or she is taking her rebuttles straight from Fox.
It looks disingenuous. I think she is a sweet girl, but she is no longer the right fit for that seat.
Barbara-you always waited until it got to hot in the kithen so to speak to get rid of folks. Don’t wait until Elizabeth has to leave in shame.

I call her the chicken lady since every time she gets upset her neck bobbles. I would perfer that they have a conservative that didn’t do that
I think she should go some where were she will be appreciated. Since she doesn’t get much there.
