Morgan Freeman Files for Divorce
Morgan Freeman is reportedly divorcing his wife Myrna Colley-Lee of 24 years, according to OK! magazine. The Oscar winner’s attorney Bill Luckett, confirmed to Access Hollywood that the couple “are involved in a divorce action and, for legal and practical purposes have been separated since December of 2007.”
How sad that they’d split up after so many years together and at their age - he’s 71 and she’s 67.
As mentioned earlier this week, Freeman was involved in a car accident on Sunday while driving in Mississippi. His passenger, Demaris Meyer, has been described as a friend. Luckily, Freeman is expected to make a full recovery after having surgery for a broken arm, broken elbow, and minor shoulder damage.
