Katy Perry’s Mother Slams Hit Song as “Shameful and Disgusting”

Katy Perry’s mother isn’t thrilled with her hit song “I Kissed a Girl” branding it “shameful and disgusting,” and feels disappointment in her daughter for “promoting a sin,” according to Contact Music.
Apparently, Katy’s mom Mary Hudson is an evangelical Christian preacher who has slammed the hit song, saying:
“I hate the song. It clearly promotes homosexuality and its message is shameful and disgusting. Katy knows how I feel. We are a very outspoken family and she knows how disappointed her father and I are. I can’t even listen to that song. The first time I heard it I was in total shock. When it comes on the radio I bow my head and pray.”
Hudson further explained her disappointment with Katy’s fame:
“Katy is our daughter and we love her but we strongly disagree with how she is conducting herself at the moment. We cannot cut her out of our lives as she is our child - but she knows we disagree strongly with what she is doing and the message she is promoting regarding homosexuality which the Bible clearly states is a sin.”
Yikes! I guess Katy’s mom wouldn’t be sending any messages of congratulations to Ellen and Portia this weekend.
Don’t you love how her mother bows her head and prays when it comes on the radio? I feel for Katy - it’s not easy to have liberal views while growing up in a very conservative family.
Just in case you haven’t heard the song before, you can see the video below:

Katy’s mom is absolutely right.
It’s too bad that Katy never got born again; I’m sure that her disobedience to God’s word has something to do with the fact that her mom is not obeying the Bible by being a pastor.
O.M.G So lameeeeeee!!! I love that song it’s playful and fun. Homosexuality is NOT and state of mind! is just a natural state for some people that didn’t have a choise! GOD made them that way! The people that really have a choise are those Consevatives/religious tards…
