Kara DioGuardi Will Be The Fourth Judge On American Idol
Grammy-nominated songwriter Kara DioGuardi will join Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul and will be the fourth judge on American Idol. Simon Fuller, American Idol’s producer, said in a statement:
“We are turning the heat up on Idol this year and are thrilled to welcome Kara to the judges’ table. She is a smart, sassy lady, and one of America’s most successful songwriters. We know she will bring a new level of energy and excitement to the show”
Do we really need to hear the opinion of another judge?? Usually when they change the format of a show, it means that the ratings went down and they’re trying something different, something new. Hopefully she will not take crazy Paula’s screen time!
