Cindy McCain’s Sister Plans to Vote for Barack Obama
Kathleen Hensley Portalski, who happens to be Cindy McCain’s half-sister, revealed to Usmagazine.com:
“I’m not voting for McCain. I have a different political standpoint. I’m voting for Obama. I think his proposals to improve the country are more positive and I’m not a big war believer.”
Portalski had also said in an interview ith NPR News that she felt “like a non-person” after Cindy called herself an “only child.” Apparently, Portalski isn’t the only other “non-person” though as she has another sister too. Portalski describes Cindy who appeared in the June 2008 Vogue issue as seen in the above picture:
“She’s kinda cool, standoffish.”
Cindy isn’t running for president, but it’s interesting how she has family members (who she doesn’t really consider family) not supporting her husband’s candidacy. One would think the McCains would’ve tried to reach out to them because every vote counts!
