Britney Spears Costly Custody Battle
Britney Spears’ custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline was not only a messy one, it has proven very expensive for the troubled pop star. Court documents have revealed that Brit has legal bills from two law firms who represented her totaling more than $466,000. Ouch!
Apparently, the $466K is on top of the $250,000 she has to pay K-Fed’s lawyers.
The attorney Stacy Phillips who’s claiming she’s owed $407,000 for four months of representing Britney also claims she has discounted Britney by writing off $125,000 of it in fees. Wow, that’s nice of her, isn’t it?
K-Fed still ended up retaining full custody of their two children.
Poor Britney, her troubled times have cost her dearly, but most importantly, they’ve cost her children too. Very sad.
