Bernie Mac Hospitalized with Pneumonia
Comedian Bernie Mac is reportedly being treated for pneumonia in a Chicago hospital. A rep for the actor insists he’s already beating the illness and confirms it isn’t linked to tissue inflammation disease sarcoidosis, which Mac has suffered for the past 20 years.
Danica Smith told the Chicago Sun-Times,
“Mr. Mac is responding well to treatment. He asked that his privacy and that of his family is respected while he gets well. He’s doing great and hopes to get out soon. He’s Bernie - he’s one of the best guys you’ll meet.”
We hope that the funnyman fully recovers soon.
