Alex Rodriguez Asks the Court to Enforce The Prenup

New York Yankees player Alex Rodriguez responded to his wife Cynthia’s demand for divorce, according to People.

In Cynthia’s filing, she claimed “emotional abandonment,” asking to keep their $12 million Coral Gables mansion. She also wants a cut of his earnings during their marriage. However, in A-Rod’s response, he
argues that the divorce settlement should be determined by their prenup, which Cynthia signed a month before their 2002 wedding.

In the documents, A-Rod admits the marriage is “irretrievably broken,” but he points out that Florida is a “no fault state” and slams Cynthia Rodriguez, for mentioning “immaterial and impertinent” issues like his alleged “extra marital affairs and other marital misconduct.”

Too bad she signed a prenup! Damn! I hope she gets to keep the house and a cut of the pay!
