Snoop Dogg Covers Legendary Johnny Cash
Rapper Snoop Dogg has covered Johnny Cash’s classic, “I Walk the Line” according to Starpulse.
The new album is set to be produced by John Carter Cash, the legend’s son says we’ll see a variet of stars covering his dad’s songs with their own personal touch. He insists that his dear old dad would’ve approved of Snoop Dogg’s cover:
“He would have loved this remix record. While it stays true to the original recordings, this CD touches on undiscovered ground. This is what my father was about: staying true to tradition while creating groundbreaking new music.”
I don’t know…something about this just doesn’t sound right. Snoop Dogg and country don’t seem to mix well.
