Rainn Wilson Slams Girly Rockers
Rainn Wilson has reportedly slammed rockers for wearing makeup and women’s clothing.
The actor from The Office plays a washed-up drummer in a new film The Rocker. Although he was a big fan of rock music, he said:
“I grew up listening to a lot of classic rock. I loved AC/DC, Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin, but as soon as it started to get girly, as soon as they were wearing women’s blouses, mascara and eyeliner - guy-liner I call it - as soon as it went there then it kind of lost me.”
I don’t believe he’s slamming AC/DC, Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin but is referring to bands like Poison, Ratt, and Motley Crue. I totally agree, but the music is incomparable.
