Larry Harmon, Bozo the Clown Dies at 83
Entertainer Larry Harmon, who was most known for his portrayal of Bozo the Clown for more than a half-century, died on Thursday of congestive heart failure at age 83.
According to the Associated Press, his publicist said Harmon died at his home.
How sad! Although I was a little afraid of watching him on TV when I was little, he entertained many children in his countless appearances. Harmon wasn’t the original Bozo, but he turned the character Bozo the Clown into a show business staple.
Rest in peace Bozo!
