Sean “Diddy” Combs, father of six, is reportedly telling close friends and family that he and singer Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura are going to get hitched. A source told Star magazine:

“He told everyone to keep it extremely quiet because he didn’t want it to get out, but you could tell he was excited. Diddy said they hadn’t set a date yet, but he wanted his family to hear the news first.”

Diddy met the 21-year-old singer after signing her to his label, Bad Boy Records, in 2006. I wonder how Kim Porter will feel after she hears the news given that she put up with his sh*t for 10 years and never walked down the aisle with him and that they just ended their relationship last year.

If the engagement is true, it sounds like he has figured he wants to finally settle down with someone. It doesn’t hurt that she’s hot and makes many guys drool. I wonder if he hopes to have more kids. Six just doesn’t seem to be enough these days eh?

UPDATE: Diddy’s rep has slammed the rumors that he’s getting hitched telling People.com:

“Contrary to tabloid reports, there is no engagement. This was a complete fabrication.”

Aw, too bad, the rumors must’ve had so many people dying with envy.
