Led Zeppelin to Perform with the Foo Fighters
photo courtesy of PR Photos/www.prphotos.comLed Zeppelin are reportedly in talks to reunite for a second time by joining the Foo Fighters on stage in London. Dave Grohl has been in talks with the legendary rockers for a collaboration since they reunited for the one-time gig in London last year.
Grohl had been telling fans that he hoped to get Jimmy Page on stage last year, but he had broken his finger. Now it looks like Grohl may instead get the whole band except Robert Plant to join the Foo Fighters for their two Wembley Stadium shows this weekend. A source told the Daily Star:
“He (Grohl) had the night of his life seeing Zep performing together after all these years and was really keen to be involved with them somehow. He suggested they might like to come and do something at a Foos date. Robert Plant is doing his own stuff in the States. But Dave has been talking to other members of Zep and they will play three of their own songs with the Foos and see how things go. It’s going to be mega.”
OMG, how cool would that be! If anyone could get them on stage to join them it would be Grohl. He’s awesome! He just performed with Sir Paul McCartney last weekend and now he may have Led Zeppelin on stage with him this weekend. WOW!
