Joan Rivers Apologizes for Calling Russell Crowe Four Letter Words
In the video clip above, you can watch Joan Rivers on a live TV show “Loose Women” call Russell Crowe a “piece of f**king sh*t.” Well, she wasn’t exactly sorry about that, but she was sorry to have upset anyone on the show. She told the Daily Mail:
“Yes, I swore and I’m so f**king sorry.”
ITV executives actually bleeped out Miss Rivers herself and hauled her ass off the show when it went to a commercial break. In her statement Rivers said:
“No-one told me the TV show Loose Women was a reality show that I would be voted off…Yes I swore and I’m so f**king sorry. I wrote to the ladies, ‘Dear Ladies of Loose Women’:
I am so sorry if I upset your show. Please accept my apologies…Love Joan Rivers…P.S. I went back and looked at the footage of Russell Crowe and guess what? He’s still an a**hole.”
I’m not a fan of Rivers because she’s so annoying to me, but I’m not sure why the execs had to yank her off the show. Couldn’t they have just reminded her during the break to stop swearing? Plus, they should’ve known that swearing and acting crazy is her thing so if they weren’t prepared for it, they should’ve never invited her in the first place.
