Dick Cheney Apologizes for West Virginia Incest Joke
Vice President Dick Cheney is reportedly apologizing for an incest joke that caused an uproar in West Virginia. On Monday, Cheney said he was related to Senator Barack Obama, explaining that both of sides of his family had Cheney’s and added:
On Monday in Washington, Cheney talked about how he is related to Senator Barack Obama.
“We don’t even live in West Virginia.”
It’s not surprising that West Virginia lawmakers quickly called for an apology saying the joke was an insult to all Americans. Cheney’s rep said the V.P. realized the joke was inappropriate.
What an idiot! Let’s hope he’s out there campaigning for McCain right now.
In other related news, rumor has it that Cheney or others in the Bush Administration are planning to write a tell-all about working with Dubya. I don’t think anyone will care - everyone will just be relieved he’s finally out.
