Sharon Stone Thinks Karma Caused China Earthquake

Sharon Stone is a dumbass! She had the audacity to say that China’s recent earthquake was a result of karma for what the Chinese government has done to Tibet. While she was on the red carpet in Cannes for a charity event, the Hollywood bitch said the following in the video below:

To read more about Sharon Stone’s brilliant thoughts on karma, go here.

The death toll has reached over 65,000 and Premier Wen Jiabao has already said he expects the death toll to eventually surpass 80,000 from the May 12 earthquake. We should always seek to get Sharon Stone’s words of wisdom to prevent bad things happening to us, shouldn’t we?

Way to move words around. She didn’t say she thought it was caused by Karma, she had been thinking “was it Karma that caused this.” There’s a huge difference. Plus, if you have that background of religious belief in Karma, then you might think along those lines. She stated plainly that she doesn’t appreciate the way the Chinese and it’s government have treated the Tibetans for 50 years. I don’t either. The best thing to happen would be that China leaves the country alone. People to feign being offended aren’t receiving the quote properly, or are processing it wrong. How many pastor’s in the US blame homosexuality on every disaster that happens in every city. Katrina…hello? That’s actual blame, not like Sharon Stone, she just presented a question she had and then expressed her happiness at the selflessness of the monks.

It was an idiotic thing to say. Bringing up the pastors underscores the idiocy of it — yes, they are idiots too. If that was the club she was trying to join, then congratulations, hon, you’re in.

Sharon Stone’s comment about Katrina.

News Reporter: Did you hear know about the typhoon in New Orleans?

Stone: Of cause I have. You know, it’s very interesting about that since first, I’m not happy about the way USA treats the Iraqis because I think anyone should not be unkind to anyone else. And so I am being very concerned the election of the next president, because we had not being nice to Saddam Hussein, who is a good friend of mine. And Katrina typhoon ,and all the stuff happened, and I thought, is that Karma? When you’re not nice that the bad things happen. And then I got a letter from the Iraqi Foundation that they want to go and be helpful. This made me cry. And they asked me if I will write a quote to that, and I said I would that it was a big lesson to me, that sometimes you have to learn to put your face down and be a dog to the person who aren’t nice to you. And that is a big lesson to me.

May 29 (Bloomberg) — LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton SA, the world’s largest luxury-goods maker, urged its model Sharon Stone to clarify remarks suggesting a May 12 earthquake may have been “karma” for China’s policies on Tibet.

“If there is a possibility of putting things in the right perspective, coming from the heart, I think that is the best thing to do,” Group Managing Director Antonio Belloni said at a luxury-goods conference in Tokyo today. The comments from Stone, who appears in advertisements for LVMH’s Christian Dior cosmetics and perfumes, were “unfortunate,” he added.

“If she doesn’t agree, I think we have to acknowledge she doesn’t agree and detach us from her,” Belloni said.

To the first anonymous poster - your commnets are just as absurd as Sharon Stone’s.

When such a tragedy happens, the first reaction of a NORMAL human being is SORROW, not ‘feeling interesting’. I read in the paper that four teenagers were killed in a car accident, being burned to death. I felt pain. I did’t question whether they had it coming because their parents were not nice to their neighbors. Stone’s statement demonstrated her lack of empathy for the dead and the suffering (especially if they are Chinese). Do you get it now?

sharon stone and those like her may think that misfortune does not happen to them. that’s why they don’t feel the pain others felt when many people die or are in pain. maybe they need to experience loss in a personal way to know that suffering is real, and that those who suffered long for a comforting word, not condemnation for alleged wrongs or “karma”? on my part, her behavior makes me unable to continue patronizing movies or products where she is a part of, since seeing her reminds me of her cold heartedness and thus devalues whatever it is that she is associated with.

Everyone always feels sorry when bad things happen, especially me, offcourse no-one does things wrong and wish for it to return, but it does.. this is what is called “As ye sow, so shall ye reap” in the Bible and “Karma” according to Buddhists and Hindu’s. Its the natural law of life, the whell turns, and sadly we all have to live through it and pay for our actions, now or when we die, or as a country collectively as in the case of China, America, South Africa, Zimbabwe.. you name it. However that does not mean we should feel nothing less than we did before! We should still feel sorry, feel the pain and try to help where we can. And also try to understand this, clearly, to avoid future “karmic retributions” which only turn around and kick us in the face, anyway. This morning when I woke up, I had a headache, no longer do i wonder why, but quickly examine my day yesterday, only to remember cursing some innocent person in my head for a tiny mistake! We are not perfect, none of us, BUT if we understand the karmic law better, we can go through life more smoothly, as countries, and as individuals!
