Music Producer Lou Pearlman Gets 25 Years in Prison

Lou Pearlman, the producer who created such manufactured pop groups as the Backstreet Boys and N’Sync, was sentenced to 25 years in prison on Wednesday.
The sentence stems from four federal charges: two counts of conspiracy, and one each of money laundering and using false statements in a bankruptcy proceeding.
Pearlman was found guilty on all counts. Hooray! How could you not look at this guy and not know he was a criminal? Both N’Sync and Backstreet Boys wound up getting away from Pearlman by suing and pursuing their own paths.
