Teri Hatcher Gives Back By Singing on American Idol?
photo courtesy of PR Photos/www.prphotos.comTeri Hatcher, the Desperate Housewives star is set to participate on to “American Idol Gives Back” by singing! According to the New York Daily News, she has offered to step in and lend her star power and voice to help raise funds for charity.
Teri will be doing back-up for The Band From TV which will feature her co-star James Denton, Hugh Laurie from House, Greg Grunberg from Heroes, and Bonnie Somerville from Cashmere Mafia.
In addition to Teri, the celebrities who are participating include: U2’s Bono, Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon, Miley Cyrus, Mariah Carey, Eli and Peyton Manning, Fergie, Chris Daughtry, Carrie Underwood, Annie Lennox, John Legend, Snoop Dogg, Maroon 5, Heart, Gloria Estefan, Celine Dion, Robin Williams and “High School Musical” stars Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens.
The funds raised will go to the Children’s Defense Fund, The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, Make It Right, Malaria No More, Save The Children and the Children’s Health Fund.
