Priscilla Presley Shushed Kelly Ripa
Priscilla Presley shushed Kelly Ripa from interrupting Regis Philbin on Regis and Kelly this morning. Kelly must’ve wanted to kill her when Priscilla laughed and said,
“I’m sorry Regis, what did you say? Because she kinda butt in. Ha. Ha. Ha. I know this happens a lot.”
Ouch!
I didn’t watch the show today, but on Access Hollywood, Billy Bush was saying that Kelly remained silent for the rest of the interview even when Regis tried to ask Kelly for some input.
High fives go to Priscilla because Kelly interrupts a lot on that show!

Priscilla was very rude to Kelly. Live with Regis and Kelly is not scripted, so it’s only natural that Regis and Kelly will interrupt each other. And that doesn’t happen often. They give each other equal time talking and interviewing the guest. Priscilla owes Kelly an apology. If any complaint should be made, is that Regis always either forgets names or completely mispronounces everything. And it’s Kelly that ‘interrupts’ and corrects all his mistakes.
Priscilla was extremely rude. Early in the interview Kelly and Regis both started to ask a question at the same time and Regis let Kelly finish. Then Priscilla completely ignored Kelly and made her rude comments about Kelly to Regis. Regis looked absolutely shocked and Kelly apologized. Kelly and Priscilla never said another word to each other after that. Priscilla’s flagrant disrespect for her host guaranteed she’ll never be a guest on that show again.

Kelly Ripa does run her mouth a lot and interrupt Regis, not only Regis but she cuts off guests when they’re speaking. I’m glad Priscilla put her in her place. I wish someone had done that before.
Priscilla Presley was 100% rude. Fine that she interrupted and asked Regis for his question, but she CONTINUED on in ad-nauseum about how Kelly interrupted.
If anyone regularly watches “Live with Regis and Kelly”, you’ll KNOW that Kelly Ripa is self-deprecating and, to my knowledge, is always very supportive and complimentary to the show’s guests. She is one of my favorite talk show hosts and is a pleasure to watch.
I think Priscilla could’ve handled it a bit better but I’m glad she did that anyway. As much as I like watching Kelly Ripa, she does interrupt quite a bit, with guests and with co-hosts. Sometimes they don’t even get to make their point or finish a statement before she’s on to the next question or talking about her personal life and her kids. It’s not Live with Kelly Ripa but REGIS and Kelly. Maybe/hopefully she’ll learn from this. Props to Priscilla!
Kelly is in love with herself-it’s not just a summer thing! She tries to make everything about her and DOES interrupt especially when there is not enough focus on her. She is rediculous. It might be that the comments should not have played out like they did but Kelly needs to get off her high horse and SHUT UP!
Priscilla was especially rude to Kelly, enough so that it made Regis uncomfortable as well. It wasn’t that she just “shushed” Kelly; Priscilla went on to try and get the audience “on board with her” by turning to them to say she notices Kelly doing it a lot. It is pretty obvious that Priscilla had this maneuver of hers on her personal agenda before she was even introduced. Why? Jealousy of the youth Pris keeps trying to obtain for herself was showing very clearly. The botox that ruined her face may have done a number on her brain. Priscilla was a beautiful woman before she kept going after the “fountain of youth shots” that made her face look like a puffed up mask. I believe looking at the young Kelly triggered her jealousy button. Good Grief — if Kelly and Regis didn’t interrupt each other and “play off of each other”, the show would lose it’s entertaining quality. Regis and Kelly together are often more enjoyable to watch than their guests. Priscilla Presley was offensive and should not be invited back. What is her talent anyway? That she was married to Elvis for a while – period.
Priscilla was overtly rude when you consider it was only a common occurrence when you have an unscripted format such as Live with Regis and Kelly. Understandably, Regis, since his bypass has lost a few steps and the ever energetic Kelly outpaces Regis these days. Kelly is there to help balance the pace otherwise the show may just drag along. It’s up to the producers to say whether or not the interruptions are an issue. There was plenty of time for both the questions to be repeated and answered respectfully. I have always had an affinity for Priscilla, but in recent years she really comes across as if she is put out with the interview process. From interview/tour of Graceland with Larry King to Oprah Winfrey; now Live with Regis and Kelly. oof ! Give me a break, Priscilla.
Pricilla was beyond rude! There was no need for her to comment that like. She could have politely said “Im sorry..I didnt catch the questions, what did you ask” or something like that. Pricilla was a GUEST on THEIR show, not the other way around. This show is unscripted, Kelly and Regis have no way of knowing who is going to ask what, when. Interruptions are bound to happen. And I agree with the poster that said Regis needs to be interrupted sometimes…he cant see the prompt cards anymore, as no idea what they say unless Kelly tells him, mispronounces, loses train of thought, etc. I love Regis, but his age is showing and sorry to say, but it may be time to replace him. Good for Kelly that she gave Pricilla the cold shoulder after that. Futhermore, Regis should have backed Kelly when Pricilla said that instead of just sitting there letting Pricilla think it was ok to talk to his cohost like that. Kelly girl..he didnt have your back! And to think I felt so bad that Pricilla was kicked off Dancing with the Stars. Not anymore!!
Apparently Priscilla’s Botox has some type of adverse reaction on her manners, not just her face.
Props to Kelly for giving Priscilla the cold shoulder. I’m very surprised at Mr. Philbin for not backing up Kelly when this incident took place. I simply ADORE Kelly and I believe she makes the show very interesting. Priscilla should be ashamed of her behavior. Kelly, is a great host. Boo to the old ones Regis and Priscilla!
I don’t blame Kelly for ignoring that rude Presley. If I were Kelly I would have asked her what it’s like to have cheek implants, so you can’t even smile!!
Priscilla was a very RUDE guest. Hello, it is a talk-show and Regis and Kelly are BOTH the hosts. The babble between them is wonderful! They are the bright spot in my morning!!! Prissy Presley, is just a bit of a has-been who has had WAY TOO MUCH work done on her face, what is up w/ that hair too! She is JEALOUS OF LOVELY MISS RIPPA
I’m humored by this whole thing because it’s not a secret that Regis talks non-stop and so do his co-hosts. Kathy Lee & Regis and Kelly & Regis have been notorious for interrupting each other all the time.
It’s kind of driven me crazy a tad because it seems as though they are never really interested in fully listening to the other person’s point of view. But it’s a game they play/ed on camera and always have. It’s almost as if they can read each other’s minds and fill in the words of the sentences.
Priscilla is refined and probably doesn’t like to have her converstations rushed. I know I don’t like people to rush me. It’s rude. And when Priscilla asked Regis a direct question, Kelly should have let him answer.
Thank goodness, it is about time someone grew a set and said something, made a comment, what have you to Kelly Rippa. She never seems as interested in the guest as she does talking about herself, her family or how cute her family or herself is. Gag Gag Gag.
Priscilla was rude and condescending. I enjoy Kelly’s personality and the way that she handles Regis.
If you watch the clip back, it was Regis that interrupted Kelly, not vice versa. She started to talk, then Regis. Whatever anyway, it’s their schtick and it’s why I watch.
Priscilla was right, I am shocked that it was made a deal of, Kelly is boring she should not be in that spot and if she chose to sulk when she was told to shut up, well grow up.
Kelly Ripa thinks she is a model and she is bringing the show down, I would much rather watch Ellen, at least she is real, Kelly sulks a lot and thinks she is bigger than she is.
Bring back Kathy Lee
I like Kelly and think she tries hard to be helpful to Regis and entertaining to the audience. She always acts very interested in the guests and doesn’t deserve to be treated so rudely. Regis was even shocked by Priscilla’s rude comments.
I have to agree that Priscilla was rude. Who knows…maybe she needed 15 more minutes…
Priscilla’s rude comment was surprising and offensive. But she also spoke rudely several times to Louis during DWTS and in remarks she made about him during the show. She came across as being very unpleasant - both on DWTS and on Live. Too bad. Louis is a wonderfrul pro and deserved a more personable partner. I thought it was a little strange when he did not appear with her on Live.
Priscilla helped to make a movie years ago that really portrayed Elvis in a negative light. It also tried to make it appear that she had to suffer through the entire marriage. She is still living off of Elvis. Elvis’ only mistake was shooting at the television and not Priscilla. She is an arrogant ‘has been’ who really ‘never was’. As bubbly as Kelly is, and at times over-the-top she still has more decency in her little finger than Priscilla ever has had or will have.

All i have to say in this matter is that Kelly has more class in her baby finger then Priscilla has in her whole old bodie.Kelly and Regis complaement each other.Kelly did the right thing.She is a wonderful co host and she has really made a good name for herself. Maybe Priscilla is a little intimadated by Kelly.She has alot going for her. Kelly you ROCK!!!!!!!!!!

Priscilla is so insecure with her looks, it shows,I think that her insecurity makes her look arrogant. I feel so sorry for her,she was such a beautiful woman.I honestly think she was just trying to be funny! and i think she should apologize to kelly.
kelly is in love with herself.. she cannot pass a mirror without complimenting herself.. she is aging and looks like a clone of kathy lee at her age.. right down to the non eyebrows.. regis is the show.. without him her husband and she would not be in the shape they are in.. get some humility.. alone, you are a sinking ship.. case in point your sitcom..
Actually, Kelly began her question first. Priscilla’s fake laugh was ridiculous. I used to like her, but she jsut showed her real self. She was guest on that show, and it was defineatley preplanned. (she is not a good actress)
