Jamie Lee Curtis is Pissed About Topless Cover

Jamie Lee Curtis is reportedly pissed at the editors of AARP magazine for turning a cover shot of her wearing a strapless dress into a nude controversy. Curtis claimed she was shocked when the photo was cropped to make it look as if she was topless on the cover as it was really only baring her shoulders.

On Monday’s Oprah show, Jamie Lee fumed:

“Isn’t it fascinating that this constitutes being naked. What the ‘f’ are we talking about? In my world, this is called strapless. And yet they had to sell this magazine; I didn’t go around saying I was topless”.

She insisted she would never go topless and regrets the times she did in the past.

She added:

“I have a 21-year-old daughter in college and a 12-year-old son; if I could take back Trading Places today I would because I didn’t know I was gonna have a child… when I was 21 and I exposed my breasts in a movie”.

It’s too bad she regrets being topless in a movie. She became quite famous for her role in Trading Places which has helped her afford the life she has for her kids. I can understand why she’s upset at the editors for making it appear she went topless when she didn’t, but I don’t know why she is so adamant about not going topless ever again for the sake of her children.

What’s the big deal about boobs anyway? Children should also be taught they don’t need to be ashamed of their bodies.
