David Cook Rushed to Hospital

Medics said that Cook’s blood pressure was “far too high” and told him to get treated, however, he didn’t want to leave until the show was over.
Cook received medication to bring his blood pressure down and was released after a few hours according to TMZ. People magazine reported that after he was taken back to the apartments for Idol contestants and was “doing fine.”
TMZ has also reported that Cook has been under a lot of pressure over his brother’s battle with cancer and in an earlier show, he collapsed before performing and said he couldn’t continue, but he would up being able to go through with the performance anyway.
Wow, poor guy. I hope Cook feels better and I certainly wish the best for his brother’s battle with cancer. That must be a lot to deal with while he has the pressure of the competition.
