Dancing With the Stars 6, Week 5 Elimination
I’m not sure who the first special guest was tonight as I was busy answering the phone during that time, but the second guest was James Blunt. He sang “Carry You Home” from his new album and from what I heard of it, it sounded pretty good.
The two couples in the bottom 2 were: Priscilla Presley and Louis Van Amstel as well as Cristian de la Fuente with Cheryl Burke. While it was no surprise that Priscilla Presley was eliminated tonight, she certainly is to be commended for what she did on the show. I was totally floored to see her do the splits last night. She’s 62! High fives go out to her for putting herself out there and trying this. Watch the video below:

Recently I have been reading an untold story about Priscilla and Elvis that I found online:

I think Priscilla is fabulous, and I know the Spirit of Elvis is smiling down on her, and REALLY ROOTING FOR HER!!! He would be SO PROUD of what she is doing. What she is doing is really very difficult, regardless of age, etc.
Not sure how much longer Pricilla would have or could have lasted on the show…but she certaintly didnt deserve to be eliminated this week. I thought her performance was fantastic. She has more sex appeal than most of the other woman on that show and it came out in this dance. The judges were not happy about the pace of the dance (they said it was too slow), but that shouldn’t reflect on Pricilla..her partner is responsible for the choragraphy and she is just responsible to dance it the best she can. And I for one think she did a wonderful job! Wow…the splits..amazing! Now….if she would just apoligize to Kelly Ripa for her rudeness on their show, I would love her even more.
