Clay Aiken Handprints For Planet Hollywood - Why O Why?

I thought that only Hollywood stars have their handprints taken for Planet Hollywood. Do we really need another place where Claymates go to?

Seriously. What exactly do you think Claymates are? They are people with money to spend — I think most businesses LOVE that. Since when and why is having a dedicated fanbase a bad thing? Most artists would kill for it. As to the “only certain types of people” should do the handprints, does it escape your notice that he has been getting raves on Broadway for acting, singing, and dancing. I would say he has set himself a few steps above the typical Idol singer who has only done that. He is a also a huge draw on TV talk and entertainment shows, and has been since day one, which no other AI person has been able to succeed at. He’s an all around entertainer, different from the other AI people. Get used to it cause he’s not going anywhere but where he wants and to more diversified areas as time goes on.
