Charlton Heston’s Business Manager Charged with Embezzlement
photo courtesy of PR Photos/www.prphotos.comCharlton Heston’s business manager has reportedly been charged with stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from him as well as from the TV producer Stephen J. Cannell. On Monday, Sharon Walker was arrested in California and charged with two counts of embezzlement, three counts of forgery and five counts of filing false tax returns. Allegedly, Walker ripped off Heston for $157,000 and over $567,000 from Cannell (creator of The A-Team, The Greatest American Hero, The Rockford Files, Wiseguy, 21 Jump Street, Silk Stalkings and The Commish).
A statement was released by the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office which accused Walker of forging signatures to pay off her credit card debt. Walker faces up to 11 years in prison if convicted of all charges.
Wow, prison isn’t the worst part for Walker. She’s going to have Moses haunting her now and that’s pretty scary! Yikes!
