Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant has reportedly turned down a deal for $200 million to have the legendary rockers tour. According to the Mirror, Plant rejected the offer in order concentrate on his partnership with Alison Krauss. Although Led Zeppelin performed in December 2007, causing high demand for them more shows, they’ve refused to confirm any more dates. A source told the Mirror:

“Jimmy (Page, guitarist) had enjoyed the concert in December enough to want to tour again. He argued they still had something to offer. John (Paul, bassist) sided with Jimmy. He loved making music with the others again. But Robert wanted to leave last year’s concert as their legacy. They had proved they could still do it and that was enough.”

Aw! That sucks. They did prove they could still do it and many more people would love the opportunity to witness it for themselves live. Let’s hope Robert Plant will reconsider.

I am sure that alison has her skirt over his eye balls and he can not see straight. and I am sure she tells him like all the women tell us NO YOUR NOT Robert would have to be fool not to take the 200 millon and go on the road
. He is only worth about 80 millon . I don,t think that he could make 200 millon with her . she,s nothing with out him. and that record he made with her sounds like crap . Robert the bottom line is this what ever you do is your own biz, but if you don;t go with them now , thier won;t be a next time . You getting to old. I will say I was one who came and seen you @ the O2 and it was the best show I had ever seen and its a shame that know one else will see it. And I came from wisconson If I had the winning lottery ticket I would give it to you to see it again . The fans have waited long enough ?
