Bob Dylan Surprised By Fan Who Jumped On Stage

Bob Dylan was shocked when a young woman ran on stage during a concert in Brazil on Thursday night. Dylan was reportedly performing an encore of his show in Sao Paolo when a fan dodged security and made it on stage to give him a hug and a kiss. Dylan said:

“Thank you, friends. And I’d like to thank that young lady for coming up and joining us on stage. Where did she go? I want to give her my hat. Don’t let her get away.”

At least he Dylan still has a sense of humor about these things. It must be frightening for performers when people rush the stage. It’s also so rude to the other people watching the show too because no one wants to pay to watch some crazed fan run on stage, interrupting a great song.

I read about that incident a few weeks ago. Dylan has a strange affect on some. I’ll confess that he’s held some sway over me from timet-ot-time.

Evident is my new novel, BLOOD ON THE TRACKS, which I think you’d enjoy.

It’s a murder-mystery. But not just any rock superstar is knocking on heaven’s door. The murdered rock legend is none other than Bob Dorian, an enigmatic, obtuse, inscrutable, well, you get the picture…

Suspects? Tons of them. The only problem is they’re all characters in Bob’s songs.

You can get a copy on Amazon.com or go “behind the tracks” at http://www.bloodonthetracksnovel.com to learn more about the book.
