American Idol 7 Top 11 Elimination Results are Bittersweet
Tonight’s result show was brutal. I hope they never do another Beatles week again (EVER!) on that show. Having to listen to half-assed performances was just pathetic the last two weeks. What a mistake on the part of American Idol executives to try this out and then do it two weeks in a row.
And if that wasn’t bad enough, they took those live calls again and then had Kelly Pickler perform tonight.
The bottom 3 were:
- Carly Smithson -while her voice wasn’t right for “Blackbird” and I didn’t enjoy it one bit, she still didn’t belong in the bottom 3.
- Kristy Lee Cook - she’s delusional! When Ryan Seacrest asked her what she thought about her performance, she said she thought it was her strongest performance showing her vocal range. YUCK! It’s her turn to go…let’s home America got it right tonight.
- Amanda Overmyer- she was definitely the worst last night so I was happy to see her in the bottom 3, but I’m a little surprised and disappointed in Votefortheworst.com. WTF is going on with their voters?
