Victoria Beckham claims that she’s to blame for the Spice Girls’ splitting up suddenly because she is quitting music for good and plans to be a full-time fashion designer. I guess it’s too bad so sad for Mel B, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, and Mel C if they were counting on that extra money to extend their tour.

Posh told the News of the World that the only reason she agreed to a Spice Girls reunion was for her sons.

“I was very nervous about going back into the Spice Girls because I didn’t want to send out a confused message. The reason I decided to do the tour was to show my kids that mummy was a pop star once. I’ve been thinking about this for a long time. I’m not in the music industry any more. I’m in the fashion industry. I’m putting together a team of people now so it will be my main project when I finish this tour in a month. It’s the last opportunity there will be to see the Spice Girls together.”

I guess she had to prove it to her sons that people would actually pay money to hear her try to sing and watch her move around on stage as they might not otherwise believe it. She’s probably making a good choice for herself in quitting the act though because she doesn’t need the money, she can’t sing well, and doesn’t really dance either. As far as the fashion bit goes, well…good luck to her. Her fashion choices are still a bit questionable.

The best thing she has going for herself is being married to David Beckham and as long as she is, she’ll be in the limelight.
