Tim Patch, Penis Artist Bids for Top Art Prize in Australia
Tim Patch, an artist from Australia who calls himself Pricasso, uses his penis instead of a paint brush to paint and has entered a self-portrait for Australia’s top art prize. Although Tim usually shows off his talents at sex product fairs around the world, he decided to enter a painting for Australia’s Archibald Prize, which is the nation’s top award for portraiture. Tim told the Sydney Morning Herald on Wednesday:
“I had to use my bum to paint in the background, because you have to have the occasional break.”
Tim entered a painting last year of a plastic surgeon, however, it failed to impress the judges. This year, he’s hoping his painting of himself, only wearing a hat will make the cut. The finalists will be announced in March.
He must get sore painting that way, but I guess this way, he gets attention for being unique. I guess he’s pretty creative eh? Best of luck to Pricasso!
