Kylie Minogue New Wow Video Axed
photo courtesy of PR Photos/www.prphotos.comKylie Minogue’s video for “Wow” was reportedly set to premiere on a British network on January 30, 2008, however, the video was axed for failing to meet strict viewing guidelines. The video had strobe lighting effects which broke rules set by U.K.’s communication regulator, but it also showed Kylie pole dancing with aliens. Now the video is undergoing re-editing before it can be shown next week. The network rep said:
“We are waiting for the new version to be ready. It will be show on E4’s (the network’s sister channel) Music Playlist.”
I wish I could’ve seen the video before it was pulled. When I tried to search for it on YouTube, it was already blocked for viewing by EMI.
