Katie Holmes has reportedly dismissed a rumor that was reported by the National Enquirer suggesting that Katie’s first pregnancy was with Chris Klein’s baby. Katie and Chris dated for five years, however, started dating Tom Cruise just weeks after their break-up. A friend of Chris told the National Enquirer that Katie’s first pregnancy was while she was Chris and hinted Katie had an abortion. Chris’ friend said:

“Shortly after his (Klein’s) relationship with Katie ended, Chris and I had a heart-to-heart. We were having dinner at Cafeteria, a restaurant in New York’s Chelsea district, when Chris blurted out: ‘Dude, you know I got Katie preggers.’ There was a long silence. I realized Chris had said more than he had intended. My next thought was: ‘What happened to the baby?’ (But) from the look in Chris’ eyes, I realized this was highly personal. I didn’t want to probe any further”.

MSNBC reported that Katie’s spokesperson insists that there isn’t any truth to the allegations though.

Well, there really wouldn’t be a way to prove the allegations even if they were true unless Chris has some documentation that he puts out there. The story sounds a bit iffy because why would Chris Klein be telling anyone such personal information that could easily be sold. It’s doubtful that it’s true, but I guess only Katie and Chris know the truth.
