Even though Britney Spears is under the conservatorship of her dad Jamie Spears, she continues to stir up controversy. Britney reportedly shocked staff at a boutique in L.A. over the weekend by stealing a $200 top. A witness at the Fred Segal store on Melrose Avenue claims Britney entered the store in a leopard-print top but left wearing a black top without paying for it. The source claimed:

“Britney seemed to be in a daze. She rushed around looking at coats and bags and then left with her gang of 25 people. The staff were just staring at each other, then said ‘I think she’s taken a top’. There was chaos outside with fans and police.”

However, on Saturday night, Britney was spotted on her way to have dinner with her dad and some friends at Social. What a circus! I bet her dad isn’t used to all of that nonsense with the paparazzi. A source at the scene said:

“It was chaos but Britney was protected from it more than she used to be - someone else was driving and her dad was keen to get her away as soon as possible.”

If I were Britney’s dad, I’d just order take out and have her friends go to the house for dinner. That is just nuts to have Britney constantly in the midst of that craziness.
