Amy Winehouse’s husband Blake Fielder-Civil reportedly came close to death after a drug overdose in prison. Although Blake has been currently in Pentonville prison, he was rushed to the jail’s hospital when he collapsed. It’s believed that Blake was taking heroin.

The prison guards found Blake in agony and looking violently sick in his cell so they activated the emergency alarms and moved to save his life. An insider claimed:

“This was a close call, but he might not be so lucky next time. If he carries on taking so many drugs, he’ll end up dead before long.”

According to News of the World, Blake and six others took the drug and they all fell ill.

The source added:

“He’s being very stupid. It’s only because everyone reacted so quickly that this dodgy gear didn’t do long-term harm.”

A Prison spokesperson admitted:

“A small number of prisoners were treated in health care following the consumption of an unknown substance.”

It’s ridiculous that so many drugs are able to get through to the prisoners. If Blake and six others could get drugs and get sick like this, it sounds like guards are just looking the other way. Blake sounds like he’s in really bad shape with his addiction. If he doesn’t get help, Amy could be a widow soon.
