Avril Lavigne Was Almost Boycotted

Apparently she was planning to pay her dancers below the standard rate for her upcoming tour which caused the Dancers’ Alliance group to recommend a boycott of her L.A. auditions yesterday. The Dancers’ Alliance wrote a statement on their MySpace page:
“Avril’s management has canceled the audition… and has opened up a new conversation with the agencies. Thanks for everyone’s support on this issue.”
Should anyone be surprised that she was trying to save a few bucks on the backs of the supporting entertainers? She seems to piss off a lot of people these days.
