Pete Wentz Supports Barak Obama

Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz is reportedly set to host a fund-raiser for the Barak Obama on Tuesday in Chicago which is Pete’s hometown. Pete said:
“I used to be so disillusioned about politics, but with the current state of the world, I could not sit back any longer. Obama’s voice speaks to me and my generation. For the first time in ages, I’m excited for the political process that hopefully will bring about much needed change.”
Tickets to the event will be $75 each and will feature guest speaker Sara Feigenholts.
It’s awesome to see someone like Pete getting involved with a campaign. I hope he’ll attract more of his peers to get involved regardless of who they’re supporting. It is kind of funny how he worded his support though, “For the first time in ages,” because he tried to sound older than he is. It’s cute though. Go Pete!
