Pakistani Pop Star Ali Zafar Kidnapped
Ali Zafar, a Pakistani pop singer and his fiancée were reportedly kidnapped outside a shop in India on Saturday. Hours later, the pop star’s family were contacted demanding 2.5 million rupees ($67,000) for the couple’s release. Zafar and his fiancée were forced into their car and forced to drive for three hours. And after collecting the ransom, the couple were let go by the kidnapper. According to Contact Music, the case is now being investigated by local police.
It’s scary to think it’s that easy to kidnap someone and get away with it.
