Nigella Lawson Will Not Leave Money to Children
photo courtesy of PR Photos/www.prphotos.comNigella Lawson claims she doesn’t plan on leaving any money to her kids when she dies. The TV presenter for cooking programs and her husband Charles Saatchi are reportedly worth an estimated $220 million together, but has no intentions of leaving money to her children Cosima, Bruno, and Phoebe. She told My Weekly:
“You have to work in order to earn money. I am determined that my children should have no financial security. It ruins people not having to earn money. I argue with my husband Charles, because he believes that you should be able to leave money to your children. I think we’ll have to agree to disagree.”
Although she has not revealed what she would like to do with her money, she has worked closely with cancer charities in the past so she may already be considering that’s where the money should go. Sucks to be her kids eh? While I believe in working hard, it would be nice to have some money that one can access in the event of an emergency. Oh well, she still has some time to change her mind.
