Dr. Phil Slammed By Spears Family

They claim he breached their trust and misled the public while Britney was being held at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Lynne’s rep, Lou Taylor told the Today Show:
“He was not invited to make this a public display.”
Taylor also denied Dr. Phil’s claims that Britney’s parents planned to appear on his show following her meltdown. Taylor also called Dr. Phil’s plans for a Britney special “self-serving.”
Apparently, the day after Dr. Phil visited Britney in the hospital, he claims Lynne called him to intervene saying Britney was “in dire need of both medical and psychological intervention” and that he would address her situation on an upcoming episode. In a statement after he was being slammed in the media, Dr. Phil said:
“they want to criticize me for trying to help her? Get real. She needs less publicity, not more!”
So I guess even Britney’s parents have turned on Dr. Phil. Poor guy. It seems that all he wanted was to help Britney by having a TV special about her and now it’s all this. Get real everybody! He even canceled it!

When someone is sick, traumatized and in the hospital they do not need a TV special about them that brings ratings to the self serving phony doctor who is helping himself. He is a narcissist. He got his hand slammed in the candy jar. Now he doesn’t like the reflection.
Too bad. He showed his true self-serving exploitative colors and he cancelled that show due to public and professional backlash at his gross lack of ethics.
He was not her doctor and no one has a right to intrude on a patient in the hospital, let alone play doctor when he has no practicing privileges there and is not her physician. You get a clue, and a reality check.
