Dr. Phil Regrets Statement About Britney Spears

Dr. Phil was slammed by psychiatrists for going into the hospital when Britney had her emotional meltdown because he doesn’t have a license to practice in California and probably interfered with the care she was already receiving at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Britney’s family was upset at him for going public and felt it was a betrayal of their trust. The TV talk show host now says:
“Was it helpful to the situation? Regrettably, no. It was not, and I have to acknowledge that and I do. I definitely think if I had it to do it over again, I probably wouldn’t make any statement at all. Period.”
It sounds like he regrets not being the person who saved the day so he could have a Britney special. Boo hoo, poor Dr. Phil.
