Dr. Drew to Rescue Fallen Idol Jessica Sierra?
Apparently, Jessica Sierra is going to have another chance to get better after a judge ruled that Dr. Drew (from “Loveline”) would be given another shot at trying to help the pregnant former American Idol contestant after she was busted for disorderly intoxication and offering oral sex to a cop. The judge agreed to giving Jessica three years probation as long as she completes one year of treatment at Dr. Drew’s Pasadena treatment center. If she fails the program, Jessica heads back to jail.
The judge also ordered her not to speak to the media saying:
“You are not going to become a celebrity because you are a recovering addict.”
TMZ reportedly spoke to the prosecutor, Felix Vega who stated:
“Dr. Drew seems very concerned, very caring, but very serious about getting her the help she needs.”
And for some reason, I actually believe he’s sincere about wanting to help Jessica Sierra rather than doing it for the publicity. I wish Jessica Sierra the best of luck in her recovery, especially for the well-being of the baby she’s carrying.
