Geri Halliwell Got Emotional at Spice Girls Concert
photo courtesy of PR Photos/www.prphotos.comGeri Halliwell was reportedly emotional at the first show in Vancouver on Sunday and issued an apology to her fans and fellow Spice Girls. Geri aka Ginger Spice had quit the group in 1998 just before they started their U.S. tour. Halliwell said:
“I would like to say a big sorry to all the fans… especially those in America. I walked out on you as well as the girls. You never got to see us as a five-piece… this is my opportunity to make it up to everyone. Thanks for the second chance.”
Mel B accepted the apology:
“All is forgiven, the five of us are back and ready to rock your world.”
Aw, doesn’t that just warm your heart? Do you think this was a spur of the moment thing or totally planned? Simon Fuller probably urged her to apologize.
