Was Larry King Getting a Little Revenge at the Osmonds?

Larry King was allegedly offended that the Osmonds decided to celebrate their 50 years in entertainment on Oprah Winfrey’s show instead of his. So was this a little bit of sour grapes on his part or is Larry King just losing sensitivity with age?
