Paul McCartney and Other Rockers Raise Money for Charity

Paul was “astonished” after his signed replica Gibson Les Paul that stands 10 feet tall was sold for GBP60,000 ($120,000). The above photo of the guitar was taken in June 2007, prior to Paul signing the guitar.
Rolling Stones’ Ronnie Wood’s guitar fetched GBP11,000 ($22,000) and Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters’ ‘Wall’-themed guitar took in GBP10,500 ($21,000).
The money will be split between Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy, the Prince’s Trust and Teenager Cancer Trust. Awesome eh?
