Nicole Richie and Joel Madden Start Charity
According to Us magazine, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are starting their own charity. The couple who are expecting their first baby are planning a baby shower at a private home this Sunday and instead of guests bringing gifts, they are asking friends to give cribs, strollers, and stuffed animals to the new Richie Madden Children’s Foundation which will support mothers in need. They plan to donate 100 Mom-to-be kits to the Los Angeles Free Clinic through their charity.
It’s great they’re doing this because they surely don’t need the gifts. Cool idea eh? I bet it’ll feel good to get some nice publicity for a change too. No, I’m not saying they’re doing this for the publicity.
