John Mayer Obsessed with Justin Timberlake
photo courtesy of PR Photos/www.prphotos.comApparently, John Mayer is obsessed with Justin Timberlake now. He claims that JT’s approach to pop music is groundbreaking and believes his “awesomeness” is single-handedly altering the face of pop. He wrote on his blog:
“Those of you who’ve known me for a while are probably familiar with my firm defensive stance when it comes to the state of pop music. I think pop music is on a hot streak right now.”
John’s favorite pop song is Timberlake’s “LoveStoned/I Think She Knows Interlude.”
He adds:
“Not so much for the LoveStoned part, but for the 45 seconds of ultimate sonic bliss that is I Think She Knows. It’s J.T.’s breakthrough moment as an artist; a novel mix of Coldplay guitar lines, hip hop beats and a vocal approach somewhere in between. I spend the first 3:30 (minutes) preparing for the awesomeness to come. Then I yell at the speakers, ‘Make this 4 minutes long and put it on the next disc!’”
Uh, I think John Mayer is losing it. He should admit his favorite tune is “Sexyback” and dances to it in his underwear when no one is looking. Oooh, sexy thought eh?
Sounds like somebody has a man-crush going on here!
