Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz Split?

When asked where Ashlee Simpson was, Pete told OK!:
“I think she’s good. I don’t know; I haven’t talked to her recently!”
Then when Pete was asked on what he meant, he said:
“Well, I haven’t talked to her in the last couple minutes… I hope we didn’t break up!”
Pete is probably joking as he has in the past, but who knows, maybe there is trouble in paradise.
