Sting’s Sore Throat Causes Police to Cancel Two Shows
The Police have reportedly canceled two shows in Manchester due to Sting’s illness. Apparently he’s suffering from a throat infection. The shows will have to be rescheduled as the concerts in Germany and Belgium were last week. Live Nation, their tour promoters, will have an announcement for rescheduled dates soon.
Tours are rough on the vocal chords, but it looks like Sting isn’t taking good care of himself. I’m glad I had the chance to see them while it was still early on in the tour. Hope Sting gets better soon!
