Britney Spears ‘Gimmie More’ Video Receives Lousy Reviews
On Friday we posted Britney Spears’ latest video: “Gimmie More“. The video will premiere on MTV tomorrow. It is not surprising that critics were harsh with Britney. Here are some of the terrible reviews:
People Magazine:
“Looks like it was shot in one take on the cheap and then gussied up with a bit of cutting and camera work,”
Rolling Stone:
“There’s no real choreography (just a bit of dancing near a pole) and all the smoke and mirrors – literally and figuratively – made us nauseous.”
Entertainment Weekly:
“I’ve seen sexier pole work during an afternoon of fly-fishing.”
Maybe Britney Spears didn’t realize that she is incapable of a comeback. But why no one told her not to do it? I am sure that her manager and the people on the set saw how bad the video turned out. But still no one stopped her from releasing it. What a shame.

hmm,man if they put in some real choreography and a sexy stripper outfit on britney, it would’ve been a hot video.. and her dark hair would’ve looked better with more body and bangs…. i saw so many things wrong with that video.. who ever is handling her is doing a bad job, she didnt even look chubby like she did at vma’s, its a shame how nothing is picking up for her, i feel so bad for her..

I think everyone needs to get off Britney’s back! Even though she had alot wrong going on in her life right now, she must be doing something right…she’s on the cover of every magazine and the topic of everyone’s conversation! She will get through this and be back on top where she belongs!!!
she just needs to stop for a while, put some more clothes on..and focus on her kids. her manager or whoever isnt doing a good job on the whole come back. time to fire him brit!
Although I feel sorry for her, she really needs to get her personal life in order first. Cleaning up her behavior and being a stable parent to her children should be first. I really think she just doesn’t know exactly what to do anymore. And she is just trying any and everything. She needs to have the right people in her life to be a positive influence and stop surrounding herself with leaches that just want 15min of fame. Although her career may never recover, she can recover as a good influence to her children, that unfortunatly will have to grown up and be stigmatize by every action that she has done and continues to do. I pray for you Britney.
I Think that the video is excellent! I love Britney with her blonde hair laughing with her girl friends. The contrast between blonde britney and black britney is fantastic. The dancing is also great. The tune itself is very catchy and i love it. I flicked between music channels for an hour just to see the video. I love it. Well done britney!!!
