Britney Pays Off To Avoid Jail Time
As reported before, Britney Spears was charged in misdemeanors charges for hit and run that carry a maximum of 6 months in jail. It was reported by TMZ that she settled her civil case with the owner of the car that she hit. (As seen in the above picture).
Sources say Spears has agreed to pay the car owner approximately $1,000 for damage plus rental car expenses.Spears has also been charged with driving without a license. Law enforcement tells us that charge probably will not be dropped as a result of the civil settlement.
Maybe now that some of her legal problems are solved she can focus on getting her life together!
