Britney Booked Herself into L.A. Jail!
TMZ reported that Britney Spears turned herself into the LAPD Monday night on misdemeanor charges of hit and run. Britney walked right into the Van Nuys jail last night wearing a black mini dress, black leather jacket, and silver chains around her neck. LAPD said:
“at approximately 9:25 PM Miss Britney Spears checked into the Van Nuys County Jail for a court ordered booking. She was put through standard booking procedures which included booking photographs, fingerprinting and collection of information. Britney was at all time cooperative in the process. She was there approximately 45 minutes.”
Police officers offered to let her leave through the back entrance, however, she declined and chose the front door. You can check out the video that Fox News 11 caught of Brit on her way in and out of the jail!
Maybe this is why she was yearning for Justin Timberlake’s music - she was getting herself ready to face the slammer. It’s interesting how she probably finds the paparazzi comforting. I think they’re like a security blanket these days.
